Let's take a quick look at what happened this weekend. In today's Monday Mini, we're recapping the 2026 Summit Longhorn Auction that occurred on September 19th in Tremontan, Utah, breaking down the most viewed animals, top sellers both online and in person, and overall activity on hiredhandlive.com.

The Summit Longhorn Auction delivered strong engagement both in the ring and online, and here's the data that tells the story. We'll cover sale averages and total views as well as activity on hiredhandlive.com.

There were 52 lots that sold in the sale. The unofficial total was $189,800, while the unofficial average was $3,650. The internet only average was $3,882.

As the 17th sale of the year to be included in our Hired Hand Live Trends and Averages series, it takes the year-to-date average to $9,198 and the internet only average for the year-to-date to $6,631.

There were 12,500 total views of consignments online with 61 registered internet bidders.

The most viewed lot after the sale was lot number one, CR Dark Pearl, consigned by Faye Longhorns with just around 430 hits.

Now that we've covered the overall stats, let's spotlight the top five in-person sales from the Summit sale this past weekend. The consignments drew serious attention and left Utah with some excited new owners.

The fifth highest selling lot to an in-person buyer was lot number 15, KCC Gypsy, consigned by Siller Longhorns, selling for $6,250 to Corey Wayman.

The fourth highest selling lot to an in-person buyer was lot nine, HR Pacific Cat, consigned by 1886 Cattle Company. She sold for $7,000 to Kelly Chamberlain.

The third highest selling lot to an in-person buyer was lot number 41, RNL Queen B, consigned by JH Cattle Company, selling for $8,000 to Bridger Anderson.

The second highest selling lot to an in-person buyer was lot three, L V Iron Princess, consigned by McIntyre Farms, and she sold for $8,250 to John Abel.

Highest selling lot to an in-person buyer was lot number seven, NACC Queen's Bracelet, consigned by Shallow River Ranch, selling for $8,500 to Tony Rosen.

After the in-person highlights, let's shift to the online bidding. We'd like to thank the host of the Summit Sale for trusting Hired Hand Live to connect buyers from across the country. Here are the top five animals sold through internet bidding.

The fifth highest selling lot over Hired Hand Live was lot number five. PCC Ritzy, consigned by Pace Cattle Company, selling for $3,600 to Daniel Quintanella.

The fourth highest selling lot to an online buyer was lot 37. SLL Margarita, consigned by a seller of Landon Longhorn, selling for $3,900 to Randy's phone.

The third highest selling lot to an internet buyer was lot number 39, Lady Check 7 over 3, consigned by Shallow River Ranch, selling for $5,250 to Shane Davis.

And the second highest selling lots, there was a tie for online bidders, was between lot 50, 86 Bang and Jam, consigned by 1886 Cattle, which sold to Steve Morgan, and the other lot was lot 53. WCC Becca's Cowgirl, consigned by Wagner Cattle Company. She sold to Hannah Steiner, and both sold for $5,500.

Highest selling lot on the internet was also the highest selling lot for the sale overall. And that was lot number 36, HR Ketchatan, consigned by 1886 Cattle Company, selling for $12,500 to Scott Kinsel over Hired Hand Live. And thanks again to all of the internet bidders and buyers. With the top online sales covered, let's look at the impact of internet bidding. Hired Hand Live connected buyers and sellers from wherever they were, and the numbers from the summit sale show just how strong that reach was.

There was just over $54,000 value added through internet bidding, 14 lots sold online to 12 different online buyers. With this sale taking place in Tremontan, Utah, our furthest internet buyer was located in Texas, roughly 1,400 miles away from where the sale was held.

Now let's go over the updates from the summit for charity that occurred with the sale this past weekend.

We'll start with the heifer classes. Class one, Texabelle, was entered by El Rancho Grande Longhorns. She ended with 224.5 points.

The class two winner was Fast 50s, entered by Kevin and Jodie Bryant, and she received 226 points.

The class three winner, Oceans Blue, 561, entered by Kevin and Jodie Bryant, ended with 230.5 points.

The class 4 winner for Heifers was CK Kelda, entered by the Soda Springs Mile High Partnership, receiving 226.5 points.

The Class 5 winner, PCC Perfect Date, entered by Scott Meghan and Titan Pace, ended with 228 points.

The class 6 winner was 1886 Mermaid Mary Ann, entered by the Elite Partnership, receiving 228 points even.

The class 7 winner, SLL Texaco Diamond, entered by Seller Longhorns, ended with 229 points.

The class eight winner was HL Take Pride, entered by the Elite Partnership, and she received 228 points.

The Class 9 winner, Hubble's Anastasia 3, entered by the Elite Partnership, ended with 231.5 points.

And finishing out the Heifer classes was Class 10, and that winner was DB Motions Bella, who was entered by Diamond B. Longhorns and received 225.5 points.

Now we'll go over the bull classes. Well we'll start with class 11. The winner was 7BR Chaos, entered by Ezra Long, and he ended with 228 points.

The class 12 winner was Bucks Little B, entered by the Elite Partnership, receiving 227 points.

The class 13 winner, RHH Cowboy Mercedes, entered by Ward and Shelly Rabb, ended with 227 points.

The class 14 winner was M7 Big Chill, entered by the Elite Partnership, and he received 227.5 points.

The Class 15 winner, PCC Frostbite, was entered by the Pace, Villard and Hammond Partnership, ended with 228.5 points.

The class 16 winner was H.L. Crown's Golden Knight, entered by the Elite Partnership, and he ended the weekend with 229 points even.

The Class 17 winner, Midwest Top Shelf, was entered by Sherald Offfield, ended with 231 points.

The class 18 winner was Como Checks, entered by the Whitlock Vanderford McIntyre Hutchins partnership, and he received 231 points.

And the final class for the Bulls, class 19, the winner was Rocky Checks, entered by Greg and Becky Smith, ended with 226.5 points.

And this futurity also chose uh some high point animals. The high point female was Hubble's Anastasia 3, entered by the Elite Partnership, receiving 231.5 points.

And the high point bowl was a tie between Como checks entered by Whitlock Vanderford, McIntyre Hutchins Partnership, and Midwest Top Shelf entered by Cheryl Offfield, both ending with 231 points.

And our last award on the weekend uh was called the People's Choice Award. And that went to Hubble's Anastasia 3, entered by the Elite Partnership, who, as we've mentioned previously, had 231.5 points on the weekend.

And if you're following the NLFR this year, we have an update for you. These results go through September. So we will go over the top five heifers of the year so far. Coming in at fifth place is Horseshoe J Isabelle, owned by Jimmy Jones, and she so far has 688.75 points.

The fourth place overall heifer is also owned by Jimmy Jones, and her name is Horseshoe J Eloise, and she has 689.3 points.

Coming in at third place is Hubble's Lucky Charm, entered by the Elite Partnership, and she so far has 689.5 points.

The second heifer overall on the year is DW Noble Sky, owned by Dreamwood Farms, and she has 695 points even.

And coming in at first place is DR Drag Queen, entered by Greg and Nikki Gilly. She has 695 points.

Now we'll go over the top five bulls as of September. The fifth highest bull overall is Argo CA, entered by the PAR 3 Partnership, and he has 683.5 points.

Fourth place for the Bulls is HL Crown's Golden Knight, entered by the Elite Partnership, and he currently has 684.5 points.

The third place bull overall to date is Midwest Top Shelf, entered by Square One Longhorns, and he's sitting at 692 and a fourth points.

In second place for the Bulls is M7 Shamrock, who is owned by George and Annie Wurzbaugh. Currently has 693.3 points.
